Refund policy
Projects are paid in milestones that you review and approve. This policy explains when a refund applies and how to request one.

How payments work
Every project has a fixed price for an agreed scope, split into milestones. You review and approve the work at every milestone.
On Freelancer.com, each milestone payment is released to us only when you approve the work. Freelancer's own dispute process also applies to those payments.
When a refund applies
You can request a refund when delivered work does not meet the specifications agreed in the written scope.
Refunds do not apply to work that was completed as agreed in the project agreement.

How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the project name, the milestone, and what does not match the agreed scope. We process approved refunds within 30 business days.
